Available Now: Pocket’s New Safari Extension, plus Updates for Chrome and More

Today we’re releasing a number of updates intended to make it even easier for you to save to Pocket from your browser—and also quickly see what’s in your queue.

The new updates include a brand new Safari Extension, a new Chrome web app and updated Chrome Extension, and an updated bookmarklet (which will automatically update in your browser).

Here are all the details:

Pocket Safari Extension

With Pocket’s new Safari Extension, you can save from anywhere inside the browser. Just click the Pocket icon (above) to save content, or right-click (below) to save any links you find along the way. You can also save directly from Twitter and Google Reader with just one click:

Updated Chrome Extension

We’ve also pushed out an update to our Chrome Extension for saving to Pocket, as well as a new Chrome web app that gives you a shortcut to quickly access what’s in your Pocket.

Updated Bookmarklet

Finally, we’ve also updated Pocket’s bookmarklet—it now includes a “View List” button so you can quickly see what’s in your Pocket.

If you haven’t yet added our bookmarklet to your browser, here’s how to do it.

If you’re a Firefox user, you can also download our recently updated Pocket Extension here. And for more on all of Pocket’s browser extensions and app integrations, check out our App Directory.
